Job Description:

1. Responsible and accountable for the overall nursing care of the patients at night.

2. Provides leadership, staff development, and mentoring and resource management in the daily nursing operations.

3. Ensure nursing clinical quality standards and practices are compiled, maintained and evaluated when necessary.

4. Works closely with senior management, heads of the department and doctors to ensure high standards of nursing care and meet/ exceed customers expectation.

5. Promotes and maintains a valuable working among nursing personnel, medical staff, other hospital employees, patients and public.

6. Maintains an effective and open channel of communication.

7. Ensures compliance of unit and hospital policies and procedures.

8. Conduct daily ward rounds to ensure satisfaction, resolve service/ quality issues.

9. Evaluates the quality and appropriateness of nursing care, including documentation, and marks appropriate changes in nursing care delivery and overall organization of the Clinic.

10. Performs any duties as directed by the Management.
