Freight/Logistics Manager Role

We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Freight/ Logistics Manager to join our team! As a key member of our logistics team, you'll be responsible for remotely handling pick-ups and deliveries, managing freight arrangements for both sea and air cargo, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and work with freight agents (both sea and air) overseas to compare costs and service levels
- Analyse transportation data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings
- Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to ensure smooth delivery of goods
- Monitor shipment progress and communicate any issues or delays to internal teams and customers
- Ensure all shipments comply with local, state, and federal regulations
- Negotiate freight rates and contracts with carriers





Skill/ Qualification/ Experience

- Bachelor's degree (must) with a PG in SCM/International Trade or CHA certification from DGPM
- 10+ years of experience in international freight/CHA, with at least 6 years in customs-related work
- Familiarity with transportation regulations and laws Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a variety of stakeholders-Must (valuable English speaker must)
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Willing to travel, even abroad at the place of shipping as manager.
- Even though this would not be mapped with UK timing, but the candidate may have to work late, in times of urgency.
