ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Day-to-day bookkeeping, journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and financial transaction recording across multiple entities. GST compliance across multiple registrations - GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation, ITC management, E-invoicing, and GST notices. Agricultural commodity GST including exemptions, HSN codes, and reverse charge on farm produce. TDS calculation, deduction, and return filing under 24Q and 26Q. Reconciliation with Form 26AS and TRACES. TDS certificate issuance. Income tax compliance support - documentation, schedules, and coordination during assessments and audits. Accounts payable and receivable - vendor invoices, farmer payment reconciliation, customer billing, collections, and ageing reports. Bank reconciliation, CC limit utilization tracking, drawing power calculations, and daily cash flow monitoring. Monthly MIS reports - working capital position, collection efficiency, and management summaries. Audit schedule preparation and documentation during statutory and tax audits.



Build accounting processes and documentation from scratch where they do not exist.

PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

2 to 3 years of hands-on accounting experience where you personally handled GST returns, TDS filings, and bookkeeping independently. Strong working knowledge of GST law, TDS provisions, income tax compliance, and E-invoicing. Mandatory software: Tally Prime and Busy Accounting Software. Required: Odoo ERP working knowledge and Advanced MS Excel. CMA Inter or CA Inter qualification will be given preference. Experience in commodity trading, agricultural companies, or multi-entity accounting structures is a robust advantage. Comfortable building processes in a startup environment without constant supervision.
