Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Wintel Administrator (L2) to manage and support enterprise Windows server infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, VMware virtualization, server patching, troubleshooting, and infrastructure support. The role requires strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to ensure high availability and performance of the IT infrastructure while adhering to SLA commitments.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and maintain Windows Server environments (2012/2016/2019/2022).
- Perform installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting of Windows servers.
- Manage Active Directory, including Users, Groups, OU, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and File Services.
- Administer VMware infrastructure (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter), including VM provisioning, snapshots, cloning, and resource allocation.
- Monitor server health, performance, storage utilization, and infrastructure availability.
- Perform server hardening, security updates, and vulnerability remediation.
- Handle L2 incidents, service requests, problem management, and change implementation.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring infrastructure issues.
- Manage Windows clustering, IIS,



and Remote Desktop Services (RDS) where applicable.
- Work closely with L3 teams, vendors, and other infrastructure teams for issue resolution.
- Maintain infrastructure documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
- Ensure adherence to ITIL processes and SLA commitments.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong experience with Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022 Administration
- Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO)
- DNS, DHCP, DFS, File Server Management
- VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter
- Windows Failover Clustering
- IIS Administration
- Patch Management (WSUS/SCCM/MECM)
- PowerShell scripting (preferred)
- Backup & Restore solutions
- Server Monitoring tools
- Basic knowledge of Storage and SAN concepts
- ITIL Incident, Change & Problem Management
- Exposure to Azure or AWS will be an added advantage.
