Position Title: Regional Engineering Manager Facilities Management
Department: Facilities Management ( Operational performance Corporate)

Job Purpose:
The Regional Engineering Manager for Facilities Management is responsible for overseeing and managing the engineering aspects of facilities, ensuring effective delivery of services, technical training, and adherence to operational standards. This role requires robust technical expertise in diagnostic engineering, risk management, due diligence, and effective leadership of engineering teams across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Due Diligence & Risk Management:
- Lead and manage the due diligence process for facilities, ensuring accurate assessment of all engineering systems & engineering staff deployment.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk register to identify, evaluate, and mitigate technical risks in facilities management.
- Regularly review and update risk registers in line with evolving operational needs and industry best practices.

- Technical Training & Skill Set Assessment:

- Design, develop, and deliver technical training programs for engineering staff, ensuring all team members are well-equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills.
- Assess the skill levels of the technical workforce and recommend improvements or additional training where required.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to engineers to enhance performance and capability in the field.

- Scope Delivery & Deployment Scheduling:

- Develop and define deployment schedules based on Request for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring all technical deliverables are met within the specified timeline.




- Oversee the implementation of engineering solutions ( SOP, EOP , Engineering best practices, engineering processes, Hand over take over at site in line with RFP scope, ensuring the technical requirements are adhered to and completed as per the agreed schedule.

- Incident Management & Troubleshooting:

- Lead the troubleshooting efforts for electromechanical systems, ensuring swift resolution of issues and minimal operational disruption.
- Manage and coordinate incident management processes 24 x 7 as required, ensuring timely resolution of issues related to facilities' technical systems and equipment.

- Diagnostic Engineering & Advanced Technical Knowledge:

- Provide expertise in diagnostic engineering techniques such as Thermography, Power Quality Analysis, Calibration, and troubleshooting electromechanical systems.
- Oversee the execution of diagnostic procedures and ensure all results are accurately analysed, documented, and acted upon.

- BOQ Drafting & Techno-Commercial Negotiation:

- Draft Bill of Quantities (BOQs) for MEP projects, ensuring accurate and comprehensive technical specifications and quantities.
- Lead techno-commercial negotiations with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure cost-effective solutions while maintaining high technical standards.

- Facilities & Maintenance Oversight:

- Oversee the overall maintenance strategies for the regional facilities, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with all relevant engineering and safety standards.
- Ensure that all planned maintenance activities are executed on time, and reactive maintenance is handled swiftly and effectively.
