Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management

- Maintain accurate stock records (manual or software-based)
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and audits
- Ensure proper labeling and categorization of goods

2. Receiving & Dispatch

- Supervise loading and unloading of materials
- Verify incoming goods against purchase orders or invoices
- Ensure timely dispatch of goods as per delivery schedules
- Prepare dispatch documentation (challans, invoices, etc.)

3. Warehouse Operations

- Organize and maintain the warehouse layout for productive storage
- Ensure proper handling and storage to avoid damage or loss
- Implement FIFO/LIFO methods where applicable
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the godown

4. Team Supervision





- Supervise warehouse staff, helpers, and loaders
- Assign daily tasks and monitor performance
- Ensure discipline and productivity among staff

5. Safety & Compliance

- Ensure adherence to safety standards and procedures
- Prevent accidents, theft, or pilferage
- Maintain fire safety equipment and protocols
- Follow company policies and legal regulations

6. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain records of inward and outward goods
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports
- Coordinate with procurement, sales, and accounts teams
