Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for architectural and support roles including Architects, Junior Architects, Draftsmen, Interns, Accounts and Administrative staff. • Screen portfolios, coordinate interviews with Principal Architects, and maintain a structured hiring pipeline. • Oversee onboarding of new employees including documentation, HR induction, and orientation to office protocols, software systems, and design workflow.
- Maintain employee records, contracts, probation reviews, confirmations, and HR documentation in compliance with company policies. • Track attendance, leave records, and maintain coordination with studio managers for work allocation and discipline.
- Facilitate performance reviews for architects and staff, including periodic feedback with team leads and principals. • Assist in structuring salary revisions, performance incentives, and professional growth plans.
- Support the leadership team in building a solid design studio culture aligned with the values of Daisaria Architects professionalism, creativity, discipline, and collaboration.
- Manage HR communication related to office policies, notices, leave approvals, and employee grievances.
- Coordinate internship programs with architecture colleges and manage intern hiring, evaluation, and training processes.
- Assist in planning internal initiatives such as team engagement activities, annual awards, office events,
and training workshops.
- Ensure adherence to NDA policies, confidentiality of architectural drawings, client information, and internal project data.
- Work closely with management to ensure efficient staffing of design teams based on project workload and deadlines.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2- 5 years of HR experience, preferably in architecture firms, design studios, construction companies, or creative agencies.
- Understanding of the architecture studio environment, including project deadlines, design teams, and internship culture.
- Experience in hiring architects, designers, draftsmen, and technical staff, including evaluating portfolios.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple recruitment and HR processes simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with creative professionals and technical teams.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and structured HR processes in a rapid-paced design environment.
- Familiarity with HR documentation, payroll coordination, probation review systems, and employee engagement programs.
- Preference for candidates based in Mumbai with experience working in professional services or design-led organizations.
