Financial Advisor Intern (Education Loans)

Role & Responsibilities

1. Conduct outbound calls to prospective students and parents/co-applicants to explain education loan services and financial solutions.
2. Identify eligible students based on academic profile, university selection, and financial requirements, and guide them through suitable loan options.
3. Educate students and families about the benefits of education loans, repayment structures, interest rates, and financing options for studying abroad.
4. Maintain accurate records of student interactions, applications, and follow-ups in the CRM system.
5. Coordinate with internal teams and banking partners to ensure smooth processing of loan applications.
6. Assist in organizing webinars, counselling sessions, or awareness campaigns related to education financing.

Key Responsibilities Areas (KRA)

The interns will primarily assist in:

- Initial lead calling and qualification
- Follow-ups with students and co-applicants
- Document collection and tracking
- Coordination with banks and internal stakeholders
- Maintaining daily trackers, portal updates, and process hygiene

Other Requirements

1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain financial products clearly and build trust with students and parents.
3. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace.
5. Previous experience in sales, customer service, counselling, or financial services is a plus but not mandatory.
6. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage documentation and follow-ups efficiently.
7. Passionate about helping students achieve their higher education goals through financial guidance.
