Job Description :

A Level 3 (L3) Network Engineer with SD-WAN expertise designs, implements, and troubleshoots complex enterprise networks, focusing on transitioning from legacy WAN to SD-WAN platforms (Cisco Viptela, Velocloud, etc.). They provide high-level support, optimizing routing policies, security, and traffic performance while managing firewalls, MPLS, and BGP protocols. LinkedIn +2Key Responsibilities

- SD-WAN Design & Migration: Lead the design and migration from traditional WAN to SD-WAN, creating templates and policies.
- L3 Troubleshooting: Provide advanced troubleshooting for complex network outages, routing issues, and latency problems.
- Configuration & Optimization: Implement and optimize SD-WAN solutions, BGP, OSPF, and QoS policies for enterprise environments.
- Security Integration: Implement security protocols, firewall policies,



and SASE/VPN configurations.
- Documentation: Maintain high-level design (HLD) and low-level design (LLD) documentation.
- Support & Mentorship: Serve as the escalation point for Tier 1 and Tier 2 engineers and liaise with vendors. LinkedIn +5

Required Skills and Experience

- Experience: Generally 510+ years in network engineering, with 25+ years focused on SD-WAN technologies.
- SD-WAN Vendor Expertise: Solid experience with Cisco Viptela/IOS-XE, VMware Velocloud, Fortinet, or Aruba.
- Routing & Switching: In-depth knowledge of BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN, and VRF.
- Network Security: Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco ASA firewalls
