Role & responsibilities

- Linux server installation, configuration, and administration.
- Support production environments on Red Hat Enterprise Linux / SUSE
- Linux Enterprise Server, Ubuntu
- Manage HA clusters using Pacemaker / Corosync.
- Monitor cluster resources, failover, fencing, and node health, cluster creation.
- Perform patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting activities.
- Handle LVM, filesystem, NFS, and storage management.
- Troubleshoot boot, performance, and server availability issues.
- User management, sudo access, and security hardening.
- Support backup, monitoring, and log management activities.
- Coordinate with SAP application, cloud teams.
- Prepare RCA, SOP, and technical documentation.
Participate in on-call and change activities.

Preferred candidate profile

Solid Linux administration knowledge.
Experience on:
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7/8
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12/15
Hands-on experience with Linux clustering.
Knowledge of:
Pacemaker/Corosync
LVM
NFS
Shell scripting
Systemd services
Production issue troubleshooting experience.
ITIL process
Azure cloud

Preferred Skills

SAP environment support.
Cloud exposure on Microsoft Azure
Knowledge of Red Hat Satellite.
RHCSA/RHCE certification preferred.
