SAP Fiori/UI5 Consultant (S/4HANA 2023 Upgrade)

Job Summary

The SAP Fiori/UI5 Consultant is responsible for assessing, migrating, and remediating SAP Fiori applications as part of the SAP S/4HANA 2023 upgrade program. The role involves ensuring application compatibility, supporting Fiori Launchpad configuration, resolving backend integration issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver a successful upgrade and post-go-live stabilization.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform Fiori impact assessments for SAP S/4HANA 2023 upgrades, identifying deprecated, changed, or obsolete Fiori applications and components.
- Migrate and remediate standard and custom SAP Fiori/UI5 applications for S/4HANA 2023 compatibility.
- Adapt Fiori applications to updated SAPUI5 versions, S/4HANA data model changes, and latest Fiori UX standards.
- Configure and support SAP Fiori Launchpad, including catalogs, spaces, pages, tiles, and role assignments.
- Collaborate with ABAP, Basis, and functional teams to resolve backend issues related to CDS Views, OData services, and S/4HANA simplification items.
- Perform unit, integration, and regression testing of Fiori applications and support defect resolution.
- Prepare technical documentation, migration reports, and support production cutover and hypercare activities.
- Ensure application quality, performance, and user experience throughout the upgrade lifecycle.

Must Have Skills





- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 development.
- Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA environments and upgrade/migration projects.
- Expertise in SAPUI5, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and SAP Fiori UX.
- Strong knowledge of OData Services and CDS Views.
- Experience with SAP Fiori Launchpad configuration (Catalogs, Spaces, Pages, Tiles, Roles).
- Understanding of SAP Simplification Item List and Fiori Reference Library.
- Experience in Fiori application lifecycle management, including adaptation, extension, and migration.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Valuable to Have Skills

- Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP).
- Knowledge of SAP Gateway, RAP, and CAP.
- Experience with SAP BAS (Business Application Studio) or SAP Web IDE.
- Familiarity with Git and DevOps/CI-CD practices.
- SAP Fiori/UI5 or SAP S/4HANA certification is an added advantage.
- Experience supporting production cutover, hypercare, and post-upgrade stabilization.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
