Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Documentum Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise content management (ECM) solutions using the OpenText Documentum platform. The ideal candidate should have robust expertise in Documentum development, repository customization, workflow implementation, integrations, and platform support. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing ECM solutions.

Key Responsibilities Development Implementation

- Design and develop enterprise content management solutions using Documentum xCP, DFC, DQL, REST APIs, and Java/J2EE.
- Customize and configure Documentum Content Server, D2, and Webtop applications.
- Develop and implement document workflows, lifecycle management, and business processes using Process Builder and Composer.
- Integrate Documentum with enterprise applications such as ERP, PLM, and other business systems.
- Perform migration of legacy repositories and content into Documentum or cloud platforms.

System Administration Optimization
- Design scalable and secure Documentum repository architecture.
- Configure object types, indexing, metadata, and repository structures for optimal performance.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Documentum environments.
- Support upgrades, patching, performance tuning, backup, and disaster recovery activities.

Collaboration Technical Leadership
- Work closely with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to understand business requirements.
- Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews.
- Mentor junior developers and promote development best practices.
- Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and support documentation.

Cloud DevOps
- Support Documentum deployments on AWS environments.




- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, Docker, or similar DevOps tools.
- Support hybrid cloud deployments and platform modernization initiatives.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in Documentum development and Enterprise Content Management (ECM).
- Hands-on experience in implementing Documentum-based enterprise solutions.
