As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a key member of our software development team, responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining complex and innovative .NET-based applications. You will play a leadership role in technical decision-making, architecture, and mentoring other developers. With your extensive experience and expertise in .NET development, you will contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality software products that meet business requirements and exceed customer expectations.

Key Accountabilities:

- Lead the design, coding, testing, and debugging of .NET applications using C# or other .NET languages.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and design principles.
- Delivering high-quality .NET application
- Provide technical leadership and expertise to the development team, guiding architectural decisions and resolving technical challenges.
- Mentor and coach junior developers, fostering their technical growth and professional development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and other teams to design scalable and robust software solutions that align with business requirements.
- Participate in system design discussions and advocate for best practices.
- Designing and building application layers
- Writing test-backed server-side code
- Analyzing requirements and designing current functionality
- Optimize software applications for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
- Conduct performance profiling and tuning to improve application response times.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain high code quality and ensure code meets established standards.




- Promote a culture of code review and continuous improvement within the team.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and code documentation.
- Inclusive of this is gathering a deep understanding of implementation strategy for system(s) involved, how to configure system features & capabilities, business users & use cases, processes supported by the system(s), and integration points & specs with up/downstream systems
- Specify and fully document application customization that would bear scrutiny by an internal audit or external regulators
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production systems.
- Provide support for complex technical challenges and critical incidents.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to plan and estimate development efforts.
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and meet project deadlines.
- Support delivered solutions through hand-over sessions with business, triage calls during incidents, and answering on-going clarification questions regarding implementation
- Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and technologies to enhance the software development process and improve team productivity.

Skills and Knowledge

Primary Skills:





- Net 4+ using C# .NET, ASP .NET, ASP .NET Web API, WCF
- Interfacing / designing solutions using C#, .Net framework, Visual Studio, Angular JS / TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, latest JavaScript frameworks, RESTful APIs JSON, object-oriented JavaScript, and Ajax taking into consideration performance, cross-platform support capabilities, usability, user experience, and security
- Hands-on experience of HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular JS, JQuery
- Experienced in Entity Framework, NHibernate
- Proficient knowledge in MSSQL/MySQL/Oracle/ PLSQL
- Exposure to RDBMS design including indexes and data integrity
- Writing tests with NUnit / XUnit / MSTest
- Integrating web analytics tools
- Familiarity with Azure Web Apps
- Familiarity with Agile Methodology, SCRUM Framework, Test-Driven Development and software design patterns
- Knowledge of GIT, Azure DevOps

Requirements:
