Enterprise Project Management Portfolio Analyst and Programmer - Gas Turbine

As part of the Gas Turbine Engineering project management office the candidate will collaborate across the organization to develop and optimize project and Resource management solutions for our global R&D; organization.

We are looking for a creative and highly motivated individual who is interested in learning and improving the management of complex projects in large organizations.

The ideal candidate enjoys problem solving and partnering with others for solution development in various forms, including process, documentation, and Automation.

Responsibilities:

- You develop, test, implement and maintain MS Project Enterprise solutions (e.g., portfolio models, execution processes, optimization routines, reports, standard dashboards etc.)
- You act as first level support for all MS Project Enterprise user issues.
- You provide training, coaching and documentation for the MS Project Enterprise solution to a global organization.




- You collect user and stakeholder requirements / feedback and establish a continuous improvement / change request routine.
- You support the project management office in R&D; project portfolio pipeline analysis to manage the number of projects in progress.
- You support and coordinate next development steps of the project pipelining tool with internal and external partners.
- You support the future pipeline strategy by extended automation, data driven decisions, interfacing to other systems etc.

Required Knowledge/Skill, Education, and Experience

- Bachelor / Master's in engineering or Business Management
- Experience in MS Project in schedule management and resource management
- Avid interest and experience in programming in MS Project (VBA and Macros)
- Expert in report writing and creating intuitive documentation
- Ability to understand and communicate ideas and best practices
- Excellent skills in providing training and coaching remotely in a globally distributed setup
- Strong soft personal skill i.e. team player, quick learner, ability to adapt quickly & effectively
- Fluency in business English
