About the Role
We are looking for an energetic and articulate Telecaller to drive outbound engagement with parents for our events and programs. This role is central to building strong parent participation through direct calling, email follow-ups, and social outreach. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator who can build rapport quickly, handle objections gracefully, and represent our brand professionally across every interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to parents to inform, invite, and encourage participation in school/organizational events
- Follow structured calling scripts while adapting tone and approach based on parent responses
- Maintain accurate call logs, feedback notes, and follow-up schedules in the CRM/tracking sheet
- Send follow-up emails to parents post-call, sharing event details, registration links, or reminders
- Use social/messaging channels (WhatsApp Business, SMS, etc.) to supplement calling efforts and improve reach
- Re-engage non-responsive or undecided parents through timely follow-ups across channels
- Escalate specific queries, complaints, or special requests to the relevant internal team
- Report daily/weekly call metrics (calls made, connects, conversions, follow-ups pending) to the reporting manager
- Continuously update calling lists based on new data provided (school-wise, event-wise segmentation)
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Languages:
Fluent in English (spoken & written); working proficiency in Hindi and at least one South Indian language (Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, or Malayalam) preferred
- Experience: 25 years in telecalling, telesales, or customer outreach roles (experience with schools/parents/education sector is a plus)
- Communication: Strong verbal communication, active listening, and persuasion skills
- Digital Comfort: Comfortable using email, WhatsApp Business, spreadsheets, and basic CRM tools for tracking outreach
- Organization: Ability to manage large calling lists, prioritize follow-ups, and meet daily call targets
- Attitude: Patient, polite, and resilient — comfortable handling repetitive calls and occasional pushback from parents
Good to Have
- Prior experience calling in an education, ed-tech, or event-based industry
- Familiarity with basic CRM or lead management tools (e.g., Google Sheets, Zoho, LeadSquared)
- Experience drafting simple follow-up email templates
Work Details
- Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, 6 days a week. You will be required to work on Sundays on event days
- Compensation: Fixed CTC + Incentive structure based on connects/conversions, if applicable
- Work Mode: In office (Bangalore)
