Role Overview:

Phase Power Protection Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Technical Lead Protection Relay Applications Support (International) who will be responsible for providing the customers globally with application support, and product expertise for Protection Relays and Digital Fault Recorders. The role involves working closely with customers, Sales, Product Management, and R&D; teams to resolve technical issues, deliver product training, support new product introductions, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Ideal Candidate:

- Strong technical background in Power System Protection, Numerical Relays, and Substation Automation with excellent troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Experience leading or mentoring an Application Support or Technical Services team, with strong customer-facing, presentation, and communication abilities.
- Self-driven, customer-focused professional with a willingness to travel internationally to support customers and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide technical support for ERLPhase Protection Relays, Digital Fault Recorders (DFRs),



and related software applications.
- Support customers with product installation, configuration, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and application guidance through remote and on-site assistance.
- Deliver product demonstrations, customer training, and technical presentations to customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Analyze relay event records, disturbance files (COMTRADE), and application issues to provide timely technical solutions and recommendations.
- Work closely with Regional Sales Managers during customer meetings, technical discussions, product evaluations, and business development activities.
- Prepare technical proposals, application notes, technical documentation, competitive comparisons, and customer support materials.
- Build strong relationships with customers and serve as a trusted technical point of contact for product and application-related queries.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Product Management, R&D;, and Engineering teams to resolve technical issues and support new product introductions.
- Participate in customer visits, factory/site acceptance tests (FAT/SAT), technical seminars, and industry conferences as required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by documenting technical knowledge, sharing customer feedback, and recommending product or process enhancements.

Qualifications & Preferred Technical Skills:

- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Mandatory).
- 812 years of experience in Numerical Relays, Power System Protection, or Substation Automation.
- Experience with Protection Relays and Disturbance Fault Recorders.
- Strong knowledge of protection schemes, relay applications, and power system fundamentals.
- Working knowledge of IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus, and other communication protocols.
- Experience with relay configuration, disturbance analysis, and commissioning activities.
- Knowledge of ETAP, DIgSILENT, PSCAD, EMTP, or similar power system tools is an advantage.
- Experience working with Utilities, EPCs, Consulting, or Power System companies is preferred.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
