To validate and approve OTC deductions by analyzing discrepancies in pricing, commissions, fees, or trade terms, ensuring all adjustments follow policy, control standards, and audit requirements. Roles Responsibilities:
Receive, log, and investigate customer Deductions related to invoices, pricing, delivery, product issues, or payment terms.Analyze root causes of Deductions and collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Billing, Logistics, AR) to drive resolution.Ensure timely and accurate resolution of Deductions to prevent delays in payment or customer dissatisfaction.Work closely with the Accounts Receivable team to align Deduction resolution with cash application and collections.Help reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) by minimizing invoice Deductions and clearing backlogs quickly.Escalate unresolved or high-impact issues to management with documented evidence and suggested actions.Maintain accurate records of all Deductions, communications, and resolutions in the system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Salesforce).Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policy, and any customer-specific SLA or compliance requirements.Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation related to Deductions and resolutions.Prepare regular reports on Deduction volumes, aging, resolution times, and root cause trends.Contribute to monthly O2C KPIs and dashboards.
