We are looking for a Senior Mendix Developer who can contribute across the full development lifecycle, from understanding requirements and shaping technical approaches through to implementation, testing, deployment support and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on delivery role for someone who is comfortable working in an evolving environment, improving legacy code, and building secure, maintainable solutions that support a business-critical platform/applications.

The successful candidate will help improve team performance by taking ownership of day-to-day development activity, contributing high-quality code, raising technical risks early, and supporting the ongoing stability and enhancement of the application.

You'll make a difference by:

1. Application Design & Development

- Architect and build enterprise-grade low-code applications using Mendix, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
- Design robust Domain Models, Microflows, Nanoflows, and user interfaces (UI/UX) aligned with company design systems.
- Write custom Java actions and JavaScript snippets to extend platform capabilities where native Mendix widgets are insufficient.

2. Integration & Architecture

- Build and consume REST, SOAP, and OData APIs to integrate Mendix applications with existing enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, legacy databases).
- Ensure proper database modeling and query optimization (PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
- Implement continuous delivery pipelines and leverage Mendix Cloud / AWS / Azure deployment environments.





3. Governance, Quality & Mentorship

- Conduct code reviews and enforce Mendix best practices, security standards, and performance optimization guidelines.
- Mentor team members and support junior developers through technical roadblocks.
- Establish automated testing protocols using Mendix ATS (Automated Testing Suite) or Unit Testing modules.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration

- Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Solution Architects in an Agile/Scrum setup to refine user stories into actionable sprint deliverables.
- Translate complex business processes into clear, maintainable application logic.

Required Credentials & Experience

- Extensive enterprise software development experience with hands-on Mendix development
- Mendix Certification: Mendix Advanced Developer or Intermediate Developer certification (Rapid Developer + Advanced preferred)
- Core Technical Stack:
- Solid mastery of Mendix Studio Pro (v9/v10).
- Knowledge of Java for writing custom Mendix actions.
- Experience with front-end customization using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript / React.
- Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
- Integration Experience: Proven track record of integrating enterprise platforms via RESTful APIs, Webhooks, and microservice architectures.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

- Experience with DevOps practices, Mendix CI/CD pipelines, or deployment to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Siemens Xcelerator).
- Familiarity with SAP integrations via Mendix SAP Connectors.
- Knowledge of Mendix Mobile (React Native / Progressive Web Apps).
