Must-Have

Install, configure, and maintain SolarWinds modules:

- NPM (Network Performance Monitor)
- SAM (Server & Application Monitor)
- NCM (Network Configuration Manager)
- NetFlow / NTA (Traffic Analyzer)
- Perform platform upgrades, patching, and health checks
- Manage polling engines, additional pollers, and HA setup
- Configure proactive monitoring for servers, network devices, applications
- Define custom alerts, thresholds, and escalation policies
- Reduce alert noise via tuning and automation
- Develop custom dashboards and views for leadership, operations, and NOC teams
- Create reports on availability, performance, capacity trends
- Enable business service monitoring (BSM) views
- Integrate SolarWinds with:
- ServiceNow / ITSM tools
- Email, SNMP traps, syslog
- Develop automation using:
- PowerShell / API / scripts
- Enable auto-ticketing and event correlation
