Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the jewellery design department and oversee the complete design function.
- Develop innovative, trend-driven, and commercially viable jewellery collections.
- Create and approve manual sketches and CorelDRAW designs as per market and customer requirements.
- Guide, mentor, and manage a team of 810 jewellery designers, ensuring productivity and quality.
- Coordinate with the Merchandising, Sales, Production, and CAD teams for smooth execution of designs.
- Ensure timely completion of design projects while meeting quality and delivery timelines.
- Conduct market research and stay updated with the latest domestic and international jewellery trends.
- Develop new concepts based on customer preferences, seasonal collections, and market demand.
- Review and approve design prototypes before production.
- Ensure designs are technically feasible and production-friendly.
- Optimize design processes to improve efficiency and reduce development time.
- Collaborate with the production team to resolve design-related manufacturing issues.




- Monitor the performance and development of the design team through regular feedback and training.
- Maintain design confidentiality and safeguard the company's intellectual property.
- Ensure adherence to company quality standards and design guidelines.
- Participate in client meetings, product presentations, and design discussions whenever required.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in the overall design function.

Preferred candidate profile

- 810 years of experience in Jewellery Design.
- NIFT qualification preferred.
- Expertise in CorelDRAW and manual jewellery designing.
- Solid understanding of gold, diamond, gemstone, and bridal jewellery.
- Excellent creativity with strong commercial and aesthetic sense.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a design team.
- Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes and production feasibility.
