Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Legal Manager to oversee and manage all legal aspects of the organization. The role involves ensuring regulatory compliance, handling litigation, drafting legal documents, and advising management on legal risks associated with NBFC operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Legal Advisory: Provide strategic legal guidance to senior management on business decisions, risk mitigation, and regulatory matters.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, Companies Act, and other applicable financial regulations.
- Contract Management: Draft, vet, and negotiate contracts, agreements, MoUs, vendor agreements, loan agreements, and partnership documents.
- Litigation & Dispute Resolution: Manage ongoing litigations, arbitration, and legal proceedings.
- Recovery & Collections Support:



Provide legal support in loan recovery cases under SARFAESI Act, NCLT, DRT, and other applicable laws.
- Policy Development: Draft and implement internal legal policies, SOPs, and compliance frameworks.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams (risk, compliance, operations) and external authorities/regulators.

Qualifications:

- LLB / LLM from a recognized university
- Enrolled with Bar Council of India
- Additional certifications in corporate law/compliance (preferred)

Preferred Experience:

- 10+ years of legal experience, preferably in NBFCs, banks, or financial institutions
- Proven experience in handling high-value contracts and litigation

Exposure to compliance and regulatory audits
