KEY RESPONSBILITIES

1) Surveillance audits of quarry operations including drilling patterns, blasting design, bench formation, gradient control, pit

slope stability, and haul road conditions.

2) Review and audit documentation such as : Mining plans & survey records, Drilling log sheet, Blasting records & explosives

inventory register, Production log book & daily output reports, Machine maintenance log book.

3) Identify non-conformities (NCRs) and coordinate corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).

4) Audit third-party contractors (drilling, hauling, blasting, loading) for compliance with safety and quality standards.

5) Drilling & Blasting Monitoring :

* Inspect and verify drilling alignment, burden & spacing, bench height, hole depth, and sub-drilling.

* Monitor explosives handling, charging, stemming, blast sequencing, and vibration control.

* Ensure compliance with safety distances, blast guards, and legal explosives management.

* Evaluate fragmentation quality and optimize blast performance through audit feedback.

6) Quarry Face & Bench Development :

* Monitor bench geometry (height, width, stability), slope conditions, and fragmentation patterns.

* Conduct surveillance on overburden removal, line drilling, primary cutting, and block separation.

* Ensure secure and systematic quarry development according to mining design.

7) Extraction & Material Handling :

* Inspect block cutting, wire saw operations, primary / secondary splitting, and grading of granite blocks.

* Monitor loading operations, haul road safety, truck inspection, and traffic control.

* Ensure proper stockyard management, block numbering,



and dispatch compliance.

8) Equipment Surveillance :

* Excavators, loaders, dumpers, Drilling rigs & compressors, Wire saws, jackhammers & hydraulic splitters, Stone Crushers and conveyors.

* Evaluate equipment health, breakdown logs, and preventive maintenance schedules.

9) Survelliance audits for mining operations (earthworks, drilling, blasting, material handling, infrastructure development &

Reconciliation of Mining prodution materials).

10) Review of SO / WO / PR / BOQ and drawings for Civil Projects works-Critical Equipment Foundations, Infrastructural

works, Process Plants, Steel Structural works etc.

11) Surveillance audits / verification / tracking of Construction material - receipts, issue, consumption, return & final

reconciliation.

12) Ensure routine surveillance audits / verification of ongoing works / activities with respect to quantity and quality perspective

and identify deviations to SOPs / Stardard Enggering Practices and timely capturing deviations/violations.

13) Identify safety violations/ unsafe acts if any noticed and report to the concerned.

14) Interact with stake holders to review status of project works and discuss issues to resolve, as needed

15) Prepare comprehensive activity reports periodically.

QUALIFICATION

B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering.

EXPERIENCE - 8 - 11 Years

Prefer Industry- Mining & Metals/Oil & Gas

CERTIFICATIONS

Bolew mentioned requirement are addition to Civil / Mining Engg is preferred but not mandatory:

* Certified Quantity Surveyor

* DGMS certifications (for mining roles)
