Electronic Engineer - Maintenance (Textile Dyeing Plant)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Electronic Engineer - Maintenance to manage and optimize the electrical and electronic systems at our continuous-process textile dyeing plant in Haridwar. The ideal candidate will possess 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, troubleshooting control systems, managing drives, and executing planned preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize production downtime.Key Roles & Responsibilities.

Breakdown Maintenance: Respond promptly to daily electrical and electronic equipment breakdowns across the textile dyeing unit. Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently to minimize production disruptions.

Automation, PLC & HMI Management: Troubleshoot, maintain, and configure Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) panels to ensure seamless machine logic operations.

Drive Management: Handle, program, optimize, and fault-find Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), AC/DC drives, and servo motors to maintain precise machinery control.

Instrumentation & Calibration: Regularly calibrate and maintain critical field instruments, including temperature controllers, pressure transmitters, flow meters,



and proximity sensors, ensuring precise process control.

Preventive & Predictive Action: Execute rigorous planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules for all electronic equipment, control circuitry, and distribution panels to prevent sudden failures.

Safety & Documentation: Ensure all maintenance practices strictly comply with industrial safety standards and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols. Maintain clear logs of repairs, modifications, and component replacements.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline.

Experience: 4 to 7 years of verified, hands-on electronic maintenance experiencepreferably within a textile dyeing, textile processing, or continuous-process chemical manufacturing plant.

Technical Skills:

Exceptional ability to read and interpret complex industrial electrical circuit diagrams, control logic schematics, and panel layouts.

Robust expertise in control panel wiring, loop checking, and hardware fault-finding.

Analytical problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure in a high-output manufacturing environment.
