About the Role

As our Compliance Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development, maintenance and reporting of Operational Compliance. You will play a key role in our established centre of excellence in Gurgaon. In this role you will manage a team of two covering transactional compliance and supporting stakeholder management, ensuring controls are robust, reporting is accurate and operational risks are effectively managed. You will also support Audits, strengthen processes and drive continuous improvements.

This role offers an ideal balance, with 3 days remote and 2 days onsite to align with EU operational hours.

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead and mentor the Transactional Compliance team to achieve performance goals and maintain high service standards.
- Support Regional and Global Audit requests.
- Ensure all backend administrative tasks are processed accurately, in compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with Client Services team to resolve escalations and conduct investigations.
- Manage global stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery against requirements.
- Work closely with the Head of Shared Service Centre to identify and implement process efficiencies.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process optimisation.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

- Experience of working in Governance, Compliance or a Risk related role ideally within a retail operation, or back-office administration setting.
- A proven track record of managing and leading teams to deliver excellence.
- Demonstrable experience of managing global stakeholders in a matrix environment.
- Experience of print management, packaging and display would be advantageous.
- You will be technically savvy with competence across the Microsoft Office suite including strong Excel skills.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English is essential.
- Exceptional attention to detail and proficient in process mapping and improvement.

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, able to follow processes, and have a track record of taking initiative.
