Key Responsibilities

- Design and configure Smartsheet Control Center Blueprints for scalable project/workspace provisioning, including Blueprint structure, global updates, and dependency logic.
- Architect the Blueprint lifecycle end-to-end: intake trigger, provisioning, updates, decommissioning, and archival, aligned to ALM best practices within Control Center.
- Design and build intake forms with conditional logic, validation rules, and routing that scale across multiple request types and business units.
- Build automations (approval workflows, alerts, reminders, record updates, cross-sheet actions) using native Smartsheet automation and formula-driven logic.
- Design Dynamic Views to provide controlled, role-based access for stakeholders outside the core project team.
- Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and portfolio-level summaries for executive and operational visibility.
- Design sheet and workspace schemas from scratch, including migrating existing processes and data from other platforms or tech stacks into a well-structured Smartsheet architecture.
- Apply Smartsheet ALM discipline: maintain a controlled path from design to build, test, deploy, and change management, using sandbox/test environments and version-controlled Blueprint updates before production rollout.
- Document architecture decisions, data models, and automation logic for handover to internal admin teams.
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate current-state processes into future-state Smartsheet designs,



identifying opportunities to simplify or re-engineer inefficient steps rather than replicate them as-is.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing Blueprints, automations, and reports for performance and maintainability.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of hands-on Smartsheet experience, with proven depth in Control Center and Blueprint design and administration this is the core, non-negotiable skill for this role.
- Strong experience designing intake forms with conditional logic, symbols, and multi-path routing.
- Strong experience building native Smartsheet automations, including multi-condition workflows and cross-sheet references.
- Proven experience creating Dynamic Views for secure, role-based external or limited-access sharing.
- Solid experience designing reports and dashboards, including portfolio-level and executive summary views.
- Demonstrated experience designing sheet and workspace schema from the ground up, and migrating processes or data from another platform or tech stack into Smartsheet.
- Solid understanding of Smartsheet formulas (INDEX/MATCH, nested IF, cross-sheet references) and the platform's native constraints.
- Experience applying structured ALM practices within Smartsheet: sandbox testing, phased rollout, change control, and rollback planning for Blueprint updates.
- Ability to read and reverse-engineer existing business processes from any source system and translate them into a scalable Smartsheet design.
- Strong stakeholder communication skills — able to present architecture decisions and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
