Hypercare Delivery Lead

POSITION PURPOSE:

We are looking for an experienced Hypercare Delivery Lead to support and enable the Deployment IT Lead in driving a successful Hypercare phase following SAP S/4HANA go-lives. This role owns the operational delivery of day-to-day stabilization, incident coordination, and the controlled handover from project delivery to IT Operations working in close collaboration with the IT Operations Manager to ensure a seamless transition to steady-state operations. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in post-go-live stabilization, incident management, and operational transition within complex, multi-Value Stream SAP environments, and is comfortable leveraging modern AI-powered tools to work more effectively. This role requires solid leadership and communication skills to coordinate Value Streams, IT Operations, business stakeholders, and external partners across a global deployment landscape.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Support the Deployment IT Lead in driving and overseeing the end-to-end Hypercare phase from Hot Cutover through formal Hypercare closure, taking direct ownership of operational execution and day-to-day delivery in line with Hypercare Strategy and regional deployment plans.
- Establish and run the Hypercare governance cadence,



including daily drumbeats, weekly status reviews, and escalation paths, ensuring the Deployment IT Lead is consistently informed and positioned to make accountability-level decisions.
- Own Hypercare incident triage and resolution end-to-end, ensuring prioritization, transparency, and timely escalation of business-critical issues to the Deployment IT Lead and relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate Major Incidents across Value Streams, ensuring alignment between Project Hypercare teams and IT Operations organizations.
- Work closely with the IT Operations Manager to drive the progressive handover of responsibility from Project Hypercare teams to IT Operations, facilitating shadowing, reverse shadowing, and knowledge transfer activities to ensure IT Operations is fully equipped to assume steady-state responsibility.
- Assess and validate that Hypercare Exit Criteria technical, operational, and business are being met, and prepare the formal transition recommendation for approval by the Deployment IT Lead and IT Operations Management.
- Capture lessons learned, systemic issues, and improvement actions to continuously refine the Hypercare approach across deployments.
- Stay current on SAP BTP and S/4HANA operational best practices, and leverage AI-powered tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) to enhance reporting quality, communication efficiency, and operational coordination.

WHO YOU ARE:

- Bachelors degree in Information Technology,



Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 10+ years of experience in IT delivery, IT Operations, or large-scale SAP transformations, with hands-on responsibility for post-go-live stabilization or Hypercare phases.
- Strong background in Incident Management, Operational Readiness, and Transition to Operations within complex, multi-Value Stream environments, ideally in a regulated (GxP) setting.
- Experience working with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and ITSM tooling such as ServiceNow and SAP Solution Manager / Cloud ALM.
- Solid understanding of ITIL principles and their pragmatic application during high-pressure Hypercare scenarios.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional, international teams and to operate confidently in executive and business-critical situations.
- Comfortable using AI-powered tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar) as part of your daily workflow.
- Structured, resilient, and decisive, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; equally effective working independently and in close coordination with senior leadership.
- Fluent in English (required). Additional languages are an advantage.
