Your Impact
You will join our Travel Team to take full ownership of our local travel operations, serving as the true linchpin of a program that ensures seamless, cost-effective, and highly efficient travel services for our colleagues.
You will manage everything from high-volume daily hotel bookings and ad-hoc rate negotiations to complex group events, while also providing dedicated weekend support for our senior colleagues. You will act as the primary liaison bridging hotels, AMEX GBT, and internal teams to skillfully manage urgent escalations, operational reviews, and booking approvals.
Beyond day-to-day logistics, you will exercise significant financial oversight by auditing thousands of monthly invoices, analyzing rate data to uncover valuable cost-saving opportunities, and sharing performance reports with global stakeholders.
Your expertise will also drive essential project management initiatives like hotel onboarding and accurate rate loading in our booking tools, while your guidance in new-hire travel orientations and HR program support will set our colleagues up for success. Ultimately, your comprehensive oversight will be the key to guaranteeing seamless travel experiences, rigorous cost optimization, and strict policy compliance across our firm's travel operations.
Your Qualifications and Skills
- 4+ years of corporate and/or professional services experience, preferably in travel coordination, hospitality, vendor management, or administrative support
- Mastery of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams) and firm-related tools (Box, Slack).
- Broad skillset across relevant coordination and communication service lines and platforms
- Ability to work independently and entrepreneurially, managing and prioritizing deadlines effectively
- Ability to influence and direct vendors, and manage the needs of different internal stakeholders, including senior leaders
- Ability to distill complex logistical or operational datasets into clear, actionable updates
- Ability to work in-person (team schedules and office locations may vary)
- Effective communication skills across formats (e.g., written, verbal/presentation, email-ready content)
- Fluency level language skills in verbal and written English
