We are looking for a technically strong and experienced IT leader to own and scale PW’s infrastructure, networking, and live-media technology ecosystem.

? Role Overview

As an Associate General Manager – IT, you will be responsible for the strategy, architecture, operations, and 24x7 reliability of PW’s IT infrastructure and network ecosystem.

The role requires strong expertise in enterprise networking, data centers, cloud infrastructure, high-availability systems, and live-streaming/broadcast IT, along with proven leadership and stakeholder-management capabilities.

? Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure & Operations

- Own IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, roadmap, and modernization.
- Manage data centers, servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud environments.
- Drive capacity planning, scalability, availability, and infrastructure performance.
- Establish and monitor SLAs, uptime targets, and performance benchmarks.

? Networking & Connectivity

- Design and manage enterprise LAN/WAN/SD-WAN, wireless, and data center networks.
- Own network security architecture including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, segmentation, and access controls.
- Ensure redundant and high-availability connectivity for live classes and high-concurrency traffic.
- Manage ISPs, telecom partners,



and network technology vendors.

? Live Media & Broadcast IT

- Ensure IT infrastructure reliably supports live classes, OTT delivery, streaming, and CDN performance.
- Build redundancy and scalability for peak traffic and large-scale live broadcasts.
- Lead rapid incident response and root-cause resolution for infrastructure/network issues impacting live operations.

? Team Leadership

- Lead and mentor multi-layered infrastructure, networking, and technical support teams.
- Drive team hiring, performance management, capability building, and career development.
- Establish 24x7 on-call, escalation, and incident-management processes.

? Vendor & Budget Management

- Manage infrastructure and networking budgets and optimize technology investments.
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, SLAs, and partnerships.
- Evaluate and implement technologies that improve reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.

? Security, Risk & Compliance

- Implement infrastructure and network security standards and controls.
- Own Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
- Ensure compliance with relevant information security and industry standards such as ISO 27001.

? IT Service Management & Stakeholder Management

- Govern ITIL-based incident, problem, change, and asset management processes.
- Provide senior leadership with regular updates on uptime, incidents, risks, and improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Studio, Content, Security, and Business teams.

Education





- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Electronics & Communication, Engineering, or equivalent.
- MBA/Management qualification will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 12–16 years of progressive experience in IT Infrastructure and Networking.
- 4–5+ years in a managerial/leadership role managing large technical teams.
- Experience managing large-scale, mission-critical and multi-location IT environments.
- Experience in Media, Broadcast, OTT/Streaming, EdTech, or live-content businesses is highly preferred.
- Solid experience in infrastructure budgets, vendor management, and cross-functional stakeholder management.
