ur client is looking for a strategic and hands-on Head of Finance to lead the finance function for a fast-growing Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) brand. This role will partner closely with the founders and leadership team to drive financial planning, business performance, cash flow management, profitability, and compliance while supporting the company's next phase of growth.

The ideal candidate has robust experience in high-growth consumer businesses, understands the financial dynamics of D2C and omnichannel businesses, and is equally comfortable with strategy and execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the overall finance function including Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;), accounting, taxation, treasury, compliance, and financial reporting.
- Partner with the founders on strategic planning, business decisions, fundraising, and long-term financial planning.
- Build and manage annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and cash flow projections.
- Monitor business performance, profitability, gross margins, contribution margins, customer acquisition economics, and working capital.
- Develop dashboards and MIS reports to provide actionable business insights.
- Drive financial controls,



governance, and process improvements across the organization.
- Manage audits, statutory compliance, GST, direct taxation, ROC filings, and relationships with external auditors, banks, and advisors.
- Oversee inventory accounting, procurement controls, warehouse costing, and supply chain finance.
- Optimize cash flow, vendor payments, and receivables while ensuring efficient capital allocation.
- Evaluate new business initiatives, product launches, pricing strategies, and investment opportunities through financial analysis.
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.

Preferred Background

- CA must have
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience.
- Prior experience in a D2C, consumer, FMCG, retail, e-commerce, or omnichannel business is highly preferred.
- Experience working in a high-growth, founder-led environment.
- Exposure to fundraising, investor reporting, and board presentations is desirable.
- Strong understanding of inventory-led businesses, supply chain finance, and profitability management.
