Role: Data Testing with SQL & AWS Location: Bangalore, India Experience: 5+ years Notice: Immediate to 30 days Job Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Tester with strong experience in SQL and AWS to validate data pipelines, ensure data integrity, and support end-to-end testing of data solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data validation, ETL testing, and cloud-based data platforms. Key Responsibilities: Perform end-to-end testing of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data transformations Validate large datasets using complex SQL queries to ensure accuracy and consistency Design and execute test cases, test plans, and test strategies for data-centric applications Work closely with Data Engineers, Analysts, and Business teams to understand data requirements Conduct data reconciliation, data quality checks, and identify discrepancies Perform API and backend data validation where required Test data workflows in AWS environments (e.G., S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda)



Automate testing processes where possible to improve efficiency Identify, log, and track defects through resolution Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years of experience in Data Testing / ETL Testing Strong proficiency in SQL (complex queries, joins, aggregations, data validation) Hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, or Athena Experience in validating large-scale datasets and data warehousing systems Good understanding of ETL processes and data migration testing Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.G., JIRA) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Positive to Have: Experience with automation tools (Python, Selenium, or similar) Exposure to data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
