Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive new business opportunities across staffing, recruitment services, Informatica solutions and Data Analytics services.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in staffing sales, recruitment sales and business development, with the ability to acquire new clients, generate fresh requirements and build long-term relationships with enterprise customers.
The person will be responsible for developing new accounts, selling staffing and consulting services, and creating business opportunities in areas such as Informatica, Master Data Management, Data Integration, Data Governance, Cloud Data Platforms and Data Analytics.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
- Identify and acquire new clients for staffing, recruitment and technology consulting services.
- Generate fresh business opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, Linked In outreach, networking, referrals and industry events.
- Build a strong sales pipeline across India, the US or other assigned markets.
- Connect with decision-makers such as CIOs, CTOs, Data Leaders, Procurement Heads, HR Leaders, Talent Acquisition Heads and Hiring Managers.
- Understand prospective clients’ hiring, consulting and technology requirements.
- Develop account-specific sales strategies to convert prospects into active clients.
Staffing and Recruitment Sales
- Sell contract staffing, permanent hiring, contract-to-hire and project-based recruitment services.
- Generate new job requirements from direct clients, system integrators and implementation partners.
- Work closely with recruitment teams to ensure timely fulfilment of client requirements.
- Negotiate staffing rates, recruitment fees, payment terms, service-level agreements and contractual conditions.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation and client meetings to proposal submission, negotiation and account closure.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to generate repeat business.
Informatica and Data Analytics Sales
- Generate business opportunities for Informatica and data management services, including:
- Informatica IDMC and IICS
- Informatica MDM SaaS
- Customer 360 and Reference 360
- Cloud Data Integration
- Cloud Application Integration
- Data Quality and Data Governance
- Informatica Power Center
- Master Data Management
- Data Migration and Modernization
- Snowflake,
Databricks and cloud data platforms
- Business Intelligence and Data Analytics
- Power BI, Tableau and reporting solutions
- Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning services
- Understand clients’ data transformation, modernization and resource augmentation needs.
- Position the company’s consultants, delivery capabilities and technology solutions effectively.
- Collaborate with technical architects and delivery teams to prepare proposals, statements of work and solution presentations.
- Support the sales process for consulting projects, managed services, proof of concepts and staff augmentation engagements.
Client and Account Management
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Conduct regular client meetings, requirement discussions and business reviews.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing accounts.
- Ensure smooth coordination between clients, recruitment, delivery, finance and operations teams.
- Track client satisfaction, open requirements, project opportunities and payment status.
- Maintain accurate sales and account information in the CRM system.
Proposal and Contract Management
- Prepare capability presentations, proposals, quotations and staffing agreements.
- Coordinate responses for RFIs, RFPs and vendor empanelment opportunities.
- Participate in rate negotiations and commercial discussions.
- Work with legal and finance teams to complete contracts, MSAs, NDAs and statements of work.
- Ensure compliance with company pricing, profitability and approval processes.
Required Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in staffing sales, recruitment sales, IT services sales or technology consulting sales.
- Proven experience in acquiring new clients and generating fresh business.
- Solid understanding of contract staffing, permanent recruitment and staff augmentation models.
- Experience selling IT staffing or consulting services to enterprise clients.
- Exposure to Informatica, data management, data engineering, cloud or analytics services is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the complete sales cycle independently.
- Experience working with direct clients, implementation partners, system integrators or consulting companies.
- Strong network among hiring managers, procurement teams, data leaders or technology decision-makers will be an advantage.

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a proactive sales professional who can independently identify prospects, approach new clients, generate requirements and close business.
The person should be comfortable selling both staffing services and technology solutions. They should have a strong understanding of the Informatica and Data Analytics ecosystem or demonstrate the ability to quickly understand and position technical services.
The candidate must be target-driven, commercially aware and capable of building business from the ground up rather than depending only on existing accounts or inbound leads.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, Information Technology or a related field.
- MBA in Sales, Marketing or Business Development will be an advantage.
