Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Service Now AI Developer with strong expertise in Service Now platform development and hands-on experience with AI-powered capabilities. The ideal candidate should have experience implementing Now Assist Skill Kit, Prompt Engineering, Generative AI, AI-driven workflows, and Service Now platform customizations across ITSM modules. This role requires designing, developing, and deploying intelligent automation solutions that enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement AI-powered solutions on the Service Now platform.
- Configure and customize Now Assist Skill Kit, AI Agents, and Generative AI capabilities.
- Develop effective prompts and optimize AI responses using Prompt Engineering best practices.
- Build and maintain custom applications, workflows, UI components, and integrations.
- Develop and enhance ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge Management, and Service Catalog.
- Design AI-enabled workflows using Flow Designer and Integration Hub.
- Integrate Service Now with enterprise applications using REST/SOAP APIs and Integration Hub Spokes.
- Configure AI search, virtual agent capabilities,



and intelligent automation features.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot platform issues, optimize performance, and ensure adherence to Service Now development best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, testing, and deployment activities.
- Stay updated with the latest Service Now AI and Generative AI innovations.
- Required Skills
- 5–10 years of Service Now development experience.
- Strong experience in Service Now ITSM implementation and customization.
- Hands-on experience with Now Assist Skill Kit.
- Experience in Prompt Engineering for enterprise AI applications.
- Positive understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, and AI-assisted workflows.
- Expertise in Flow Designer and Integration Hub.
- Experience developing Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Scripted REST APIs, and Flow Actions.
- Knowledge of Service Catalog, Knowledge Management, CMDB, and ITSM best practices.
- Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and JSON/XML.
- Strong Java Script development skills.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Preferred Skills
- Experience with Virtual Agent and AI Search.
- Exposure to AI Agents and intelligent automation on the Service Now platform.




- Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts.
- Experience with Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, or similar enterprise AI platforms.
- Exposure to Agentic AI concepts and AI orchestration.
- Service Now CSA and CAD certifications.
- Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM) certification is a plus.
