Senior Analyst – Payment Operations

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Analyst – Payment Operations with hands-on experience in cross-border payment operations to manage end-to-end payment processing, reconciliations, settlements, refunds, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate should be analytical, process-driven, and passionate about improving operational efficiency through automation and AI.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end cross-border payment operations, including collections, payouts, settlements, reconciliations, refunds, and exception handling.

- Ensure timely execution of transactions while maintaining high operational accuracy.

- Drive process improvements, workflow optimization, and operational excellence.

- Monitor and ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and operational controls.

- Investigate payment issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and manage operational escalations.

- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Partnerships, Sales, Customer Support, Finance, and Risk & Compliance to improve payment workflows.





- Identify opportunities to leverage automation and AI to improve productivity and reduce manual effort.

- Create and maintain SOPs, dashboards, and operational reports.

Must Have

- 5+ years of experience in Payment Operations within a Payment Gateway or Fin Tech environment.

- Hands-on experience in Cross-Border Payment Operations.

- Robust understanding of reconciliations, settlements, refunds, and payment exception management.

- Experience working with multiple stakeholders across business functions.

- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Valuable to Have

- Experience with workflow automation tools such as n8n, Make, or Zapier.

- Basic knowledge of Python, JSON, SQL, or APIs.

- Exposure to AI-driven operational workflows and automation initiatives.

Requirements
5+ years of experience in Payment Operations within a Payment Gateway or Fin Tech environment. Hands-on experience in Cross-Border Payment Operations. Strong understanding of reconciliations, settlements, refunds, and payment exception management. Experience working with multiple stakeholders across business functions. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
