About the Company

We are an established hosting and cloud infrastructure provider undergoing a strategic transformation. Our focus is shifting from a purely B2C model to a proactive B2B enterprise approach, with emphasis on security compliance, operational automation, and internal efficiency.

To support this transformation, we are building a dedicated Internal Tools Team in India to strengthen our global operations and ensure our internal systems are as robust as our client-facing infrastructure.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our new Internal Tools development team in Noida. This role is not about typical product development—it is about building the “engine room” of the company: automating workflows, ensuring compliance, and integrating systems across HR, Finance, Operations, and Security.

You will serve as the technical bridge between our Spain-based HQ (Technical Committee) and the development team in India, owning the full software lifecycle—from requirements gathering with non-technical stakeholders to deployment and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Leadership & Architecture

- Lead the design and development of internal tools using Laravel (PHP), Python, and Node.js.

- Maintain and refactor legacy PHP applications while introducing modern microservices.

- Ensure all tools meet security standards (logging, access control, encryption).

- Own the CI/CD pipeline for internal tools in collaboration with Dev Ops.

2. Team Management (Noida)

- Build and manage a team of 2–4 full-stack developers.

- Foster a culture of ownership—developers should understand business problems, not just code.

- Conduct code reviews, sprint planning, and performance evaluations.





- Mentor junior developers to become versatile, full-stack contributors.

3. Stakeholder Management & Automation

- Collaborate with HR, Finance, Ops, and Security to identify processes for automation.

- Translate business requirements into technical specifications.

- Manage the Internal Tools Roadmap, prioritizing tasks by business impact and compliance needs.

- Drive key projects such as compliance automation, HR tooling, asset management integration, and documentation hubs.

4. Cross-Regional Collaboration

- Align with the Technical Committee in Spain on technology standards.

- Ensure overlapping working hours for effective communication with HQ.

- Document all processes and architectures clearly in English.

Required Profile
Technical Skills

- Core Stack: 5+ years with PHP (Laravel), strong proficiency in Node.js and Python.

- Databases: Expertise in MySQL/PostgreSQL design and optimization.

- Integrations: Experience with third-party APIs (Payment Gateways, CRM, HRIS, Ticketing Systems).

- Dev Ops: Hands-on with Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Linux server management.

- Security: Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, OAuth/SAML, and secure coding practices.

Experience

- 7+ years in software development.

- 3+ years in leadership/management (Tech Lead or Engineering Manager).

- Experience building internal tools, ERPs, or back-office systems preferred.

- Experience working with remote/international teams (Europe/US) highly desirable.
