- B. Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
- Certification in Primavera P6/MS Project will be an added advantage.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Planning Engineer to join our project team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules to ensure timely execution of construction activities. The role requires expertise in project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, resource planning, and reporting using industry-standard planning tools.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning

- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
- Prepare baseline schedules for construction projects.
- Define project milestones, activity sequencing, and critical paths.
- Develop Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for project execution.
- Prepare project execution plans in coordination with project teams.

Schedule Monitoring & Control

- Monitor project progress against approved schedules.
- Update project schedules based on site progress.
- Identify schedule deviations and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform critical path analysis and delay analysis.
- Track planned vs. actual progress.

Coordination

- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, Contracts, and Design teams.
- Participate in project review meetings.
- Ensure timely communication of schedule-related issues to stakeholders.




- Coordinate with clients and consultants regarding planning and progress updates.

Progress Reporting

- Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Progress Reports.
- Generate MIS reports for management review.
- Prepare S-Curves, Look Ahead Plans, and Earned Value reports.
- Present project progress dashboards and KPI reports.

Resource Planning

- Prepare manpower, equipment, and material deployment plans.
- Coordinate with procurement for timely material availability.
- Monitor resource utilization and productivity.

Risk Management

- Identify potential schedule risks.
- Develop mitigation and recovery plans.
- Analyze project delays and recommend preventive actions.

Documentation

- Maintain planning documentation and schedule revisions.
- Maintain project records and planning databases.
- Prepare delay notices and extension of time (EOT) documentation when required.

Required Technical Skills

- 4 10 years of experience in construction planning and project scheduling.
- Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 is mandatory.

- Ability to interpret construction drawings and project specifications.
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and presentation skills.
- Solid communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
