- 3+ years of professional experience as a Developer – Power Builder
Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Power Builder Developer to develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Power Builder, SQL, and MFC, with the ability to analyze code, set up development environments, and write medium to complex SQL queries.
Exposure to .NET frameworks is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain applications using Power Builder.
- Analyze existing Power Builder code and provide optimizations or fixes.
- Set up and manage development environments for Power Builder projects.
- Write medium to complex SQL statements for database interactions.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Hands-on experience with Power Builder, preferably versions 9 & 10.x.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC).
- Exposure to .NET framework is advantageous.
- Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
