Key Responsibilities
Development & Architecture

- Lead the design and development of Guidewire Claim Center integrations on Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP).
- Build and maintain integrations using:
- REST/SOAP web services
- Messaging (Kafka, JMS, or similar)
- Event-driven architectures

- Develop custom APIs and services using Guidewire best practices.
- Ensure adherence to Guidewire Cloud standards, upgrade-secure configurations.

Integration & Middleware

- Design integration solutions using middleware tools such as:
- Mule Soft / Apigee / Dell Boomi / Azure Integration Services

- Implement real-time and batch integrations with policy, billing, and external systems.
- Work on API management, security (OAuth2, JWT), and data transformation.

Technical Leadership

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
- Conduct code reviews, design reviews, and enforce coding standards.
- Collaborate with architects on enterprise integration patterns.

Cloud & Dev Ops

- Work in Guidewire Cloud environments (GWCP) with CI/CD pipelines.
- Support cloud deployments, monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Integrate with tools like:
- Jenkins, Git, Azure Dev Ops
- Splunk, Datadog for logging/monitoring

Stakeholder Collaboration

- Work closely with:
- Business analysts
- Product owners
- QA teams
- External vendors

- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.





Required Skills
Guidewire Expertise

- Strong experience in:
- Guidewire Claim Center (v10+ or Cloud)
- GOSU programming
- Guidewire Data Model
- Rules, Workflows, PCF

Integration Skills

- Hands-on experience with:
- REST & SOAP APIs
- JSON, XML, XSD
- Messaging systems (Kafka preferred)

- Experience in Guidewire Integration Frameworks:

- Integration Gateway
- Messaging / Plugins
- Web Services

Cloud & Tools

- Experience in Guidewire Cloud Platform (mandatory/preferred)
- Knowledge of:
- AWS / Azure basics
- CI/CD pipelines
- Microservices architecture

Programming

- Strong background in:
- Java
- Spring Boot (preferred)
- Scripting for integrations

Preferred Qualifications

- Guidewire certifications (Claim Center / Integration / Cloud)
- Experience in Insurance domain (P&C; Claims)
- Exposure to:
- Event-driven architecture
- API Gateway implementations
- Data migration and transformation

Soft Skills

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to lead teams and manage deliverables
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
