Role: Netcool OMNIbus Administrator
Location : Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata

Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior IBM Netcool Support Engineer with hands-on experience in the IBM Netcool suite, including Netcool/OMNIbus, Impact, DASH, Probes, Gateways, Reporter, and IBM Network Manager (ITNM). The role involves administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and support of enterprise event management and network monitoring platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and support IBM Netcool/OMNIbus, Impact, DASH, Reporter, Probes, Gateways, and ITNM.
- Provide L2/L3 support for platform incidents, event correlation issues, and Object Server health.
- Configure and maintain probes, gateways, triggers, automation policies, and event deduplication rules.
- Support upgrades, patching, performance tuning, and platform maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with NOC, network,



and application teams to onboard and monitor event sources.
- Support integrations with ITSM tools such as Service Now and Remedy.
- Work with IBM support teams for issue resolution and product updates.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of experience in IT Operations, Event Management, or Network Monitoring.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Netcool/OMNIbus, DASH, and Netcool Impact and/or IBM Network Manager (ITNM).
- Solid knowledge of Object Server architecture, probes, gateways, triggers, and procedures.
- Experience with SQL/Object Server queries and Impact Policy Language (IPL).
- Understanding of network monitoring concepts and enterprise infrastructure.
