Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Collections Manager to lead end-to-end collections for our digital lending portfolio. The role involves managing delinquent accounts across various DPD buckets, improving recovery performance, leading tele-collections, managing collection agencies, ensuring RBI compliance, and using analytics to optimize collection strategies.

The ideal candidate should have robust experience in unsecured lending collections within NBFCs, fintechs, or digital lending companies.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Management

- Manage collection performance across all delinquency buckets (1–180+ DPD).
- Drive reduction in roll rates and delinquency.
- Improve collection efficiency and recovery percentages.
- Monitor bucket movement and portfolio health.
- Achieve monthly recovery targets.

Strategy & Analytics

- Develop bucket-wise collection strategies.
- Analyze repayment trends and customer behavior.
- Monitor:

- Collection Efficiency
- Roll Rate
- Cure Rate
- Resolution Rate
- PTP Success
- Broken Promise Rate
- NPA Movement
- Recommend strategy improvements based on data.

Team Management

- Lead tele-calling collection teams.
- Supervise Team Leaders and Collection Executives.
- Set daily and monthly KPIs.
- Conduct performance reviews.
- Coach low-performing agents.

Agency Management

- Manage third-party collection agencies.
- Allocate portfolios.




- Monitor agency productivity.
- Conduct audits and scorecards.
- Ensure SLA compliance.

Digital Collections

- Increase digital repayment adoption through:

- UPI
- Payment links
- BBPS
- Auto-debit/eNACH
- Whats App reminders
- SMS campaigns

2. Work with Product and Technology teams to improve digital recovery journeys.

Compliance

- Ensure strict adherence to:

- RBI Digital Lending Guidelines
- RBI Fair Practices Code
- Internal Collection Policy
- Customer Privacy Guidelines

2. Monitor call quality.

3. Ensure no harassment or unfair recovery practices.

4. Handle regulatory escalations and complaints.

Stakeholder Management

Reporting

Prepare and present:

- Daily MIS
- Recovery reports

Eligibility

- Graduate in any discipline.
- MBA preferred.
- 5–8 years of tele-collections experience.
- At least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
