About the Role
SNEHA is looking for a compassionate MBBS Doctor to join its Palliative Care Program. The role involves providing medical care to patients with life-limiting illnesses through home visits, outpatient consultations, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams. The doctor will focus on pain and symptom management while supporting patients and their families to improve quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, examine, and manage palliative care patients.
- Provide pain and symptom management through appropriate treatment plans.
- Conduct home visits from Dadar to Mankhurd and attend OPD/ward consultations.
- Coordinate with hospitals, referring doctors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Attend review meetings and participate in programme activities.
- Respond to emergency calls and support patient care planning.
- Conduct training sessions for healthcare providers and caregivers when required.
- Maintain patient records and monitor referrals and programme data.
- Guide team members on clinical case management.
Eligibility
- MBBS (Mandatory)
- 1 to 3 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- Prior experience in Palliative Care will be an added advantage.
- Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with patients, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams.
