Upwork Bidder (1–3 Years Experience)

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Upwork Bidder with 1–3 years of experience in online bidding and client acquisition. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience generating leads through Upwork, preparing winning proposals, communicating with international clients, and converting opportunities into long-term business relationships.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and bid on relevant projects through Upwork.
- Write customized, compelling, and high-converting proposals.
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Communicate with prospective clients to build trust and convert leads.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather project estimates and technical inputs.
- Follow up with leads and maintain consistent communication throughout the sales cycle.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities and update CRM/sales trackers.
- Build long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
- Stay updated on Upwork trends, client expectations, and bidding best practices.
- Meet monthly targets for proposals, interviews, and project conversions.

Required Skills & Qualifications





- 1–3 years of experience in Upwork bidding or online business development.
- Proven experience in generating leads and acquiring projects through Upwork.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong proposal writing and client negotiation abilities.
- Ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into business proposals.
- Robust interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience selling services related to web development, UI/UX design, digital marketing, mobile apps, or software development.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email outreach, or other lead generation platforms.
- Understanding of international business communication and sales processes.
