Job Summary
GUHA HARDWARE AND DISTRIBUTERS is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have practical accounting experience and be proficient in Tally Prime, GST, data entry, and Microsoft Office. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records in Tally Prime.
- Record purchase, sales, payment, receipt, and journal entries.
- Prepare invoices, vouchers, and other accounting documents.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain financial records.
- Assist with GST return filing and GST-related documentation.
- Maintain purchase and sales registers.
- Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts.
- Prepare reports using Microsoft Excel.
- Maintain organized files and accounting records.
- Coordinate with management regarding accounting and administrative tasks.
- Perform other accounts-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience is mandatory.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Tally Prime.
- GST Return Filing.
- Data Entry.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Microsoft Word.
- Basic knowledge of TDS (preferred).
- Solid numerical and analytical skills.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts
