Description

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager who is a G Card Holder to lead our logistics operations in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in the freight industry, demonstrating a keen understanding of operations management and a track record of enhancing operational efficiency. This role requires solid leadership skills to manage teams effectively while ensuring all operations comply with legal regulations and company standards.

Responsibilities

- Oversee daily operations of the freight and logistics division, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
- Develop, implement, and monitor strategies to improve productivity and service quality.
- Lead, train, and mentor the operations team to enhance their performance and skills.
- Manage budgeting, reporting, and compliance related to operations.




- Coordinate with various departments to streamline operations and ensure timely delivery of services.
- Analyze performance metrics and adjust operations strategies accordingly.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality control measures.
- Act as the primary point of contact for resolving operational issues and discrepancies.

Requirements

- Proven experience as an Operations Manager in the logistics sector.
- Valid G Card certification.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
