Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Software Tester with 2–3 years of software testing experience to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manual testing, a good understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and exposure to ERP or Accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Analyze Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), and user stories.
- Create and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing before product releases.
- Validate business workflows and accounting calculations.
- Collaborate with developers, Business Analysts, and Product Managers to resolve issues.
- Participate in sprint planning, requirement discussions, and product demonstrations.




- Ensure software quality before deployment to customers.
- Maintain testing documentation and provide test execution reports.

Required Skills

- 2–3 years of experience in Manual Software Testing.
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience writing test cases, test scenarios, and defect reports.
- Valuable knowledge of functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Understanding of SQL for basic database validation.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla, or Redmine.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
