Job Summary
A Furniture Quality Checker is responsible for inspecting and ensuring that all furniture products meet company quality standards before dispatch. The role involves checking materials, finishing, measurements, and durability to ensure defect-free products.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect raw materials (wood, metal, fabric, hardware) before production
- Check furniture at different stages (cutting, assembly, polishing, finishing)
- Identify defects such as cracks, uneven surfaces, poor polish, loose joints, scratches, etc.
- Ensure correct dimensions as per design specifications
- Test strength, durability, and stability of furniture items
- Approve or reject finished products based on quality standards
- Maintain quality inspection reports and documentation
