About the Role

We are hiring an experienced PTP MDM Team Lead to lead Vendor Master Data Management operations within the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) function. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in Vendor Master Data, SAP/JD Edwards, Finance & Accounting, Data Governance, and Process Improvement who are passionate about driving operational excellence and leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and manage Vendor Master Data (MDM) processes and standards.
- Ensure accurate vendor creation, modification, and deactivation of vendor records.
- Maintain data governance, data quality, and compliance standards.
- Act as the escalation point for complex Vendor Master issues.
- Support Accounts Payable, Procurement, Tax, Treasury, and Business stakeholders.
- Drive process improvement, automation, and transformation initiatives.
- Support audits, internal controls, and risk management activities.
- Lead ERP enhancements, testing, and transformation projects.
- Mentor and coach team members while promoting knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.

Required Skills

- 8–12 years of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) experience.




- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Strong Finance & Accounting domain knowledge.
- Vendor Master Data Management (MDM) expertise.
- Hands-on experience with SAP ERP or JD Edwards (JDE).
- Lean Six Sigma certification or formal training (Black Belt preferred).
- Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, IF Functions, Data Analysis).
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in project management and change management.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance & Accounting or equivalent.
- B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, or ERP certification preferred.
