Key Responsibilities

- Design bus body structures, panels, interiors, and exterior styling
- Prepare 2D drawings and 3D CAD models
- Select appropriate materials (steel, aluminum, composites, FRP, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with AIS, CMVR, and other applicable standards
- Coordinate with manufacturing for feasibility and production support
- Support prototype development, trials, and design validation
- Implement design changes based on testing, cost, or customer feedback
- Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and technical documentation
- Work with vendors and suppliers for components and tooling

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of bus body construction and automotive structures
- Proficiency in CREO software
- Understanding of manufacturing processes (welding, fabrication, painting)
- Knowledge of vehicle safety and regulatory standards
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Positive communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Experience (Optional)

- Experience in bus, coach, or commercial vehicle design
- Exposure to homologation and testing processes
- Knowledge of lightweight structures and EV bus layouts
