The Procurement Engineer – ELV is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating the timely delivery of ELV materials and equipment required for project execution. The role ensures cost-effective procurement, compliance with technical specifications, and on-time project support.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure ELV materials such as CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Structured Cabling, Networking, and AV systems.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations and negotiate pricing, delivery, and payment terms.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
- Coordinate with project, estimation, and engineering teams to meet material requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Verify technical specifications and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and purchasing documentation.
- Develop and maintain solid relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.
- Support cost optimization while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- 2-4 years of procurement experience preferably in the ELV or Security Systems industry
