Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and responsible Private Chef for a well-established family based in
Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Indian cuisine and capable of preparing
occasional multi-cuisine meals (approx. 20%). The chef will be responsible for end-to-end
kitchen management, including menu planning, procurement coordination, hygiene, and team
supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare daily meals for the family (majorly Indian, with some multi-cuisine as requested)
- Manage overall kitchen operations and lead assistants
- Plan weekly menus in consultation with the family
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen
- Oversee food quality, portion control, and presentation
- Maintain inventory and coordinate grocery/staple purchases

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Private or Household Chef
- Expertise in Indian cooking; knowledge of other cuisines is a plus
- Solid leadership skills to manage and guide kitchen assistants
- Willingness to relocate/live-in (accommodation provided)
- Understanding of dietary needs, portioning for children, etc.
