Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. Freshers and candidates with up to 5 years of experience are welcome to apply. The selected candidate will be responsible for inspecting fabricated components, ensuring product quality, and maintaining inspection records.
Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
- Read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
- Stage inspection on structural steel and sheet metal components for dimensional accuracy aganist the drawing.
- Finally carry out visual inspection of welds and fabricated assemblies.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, measuring tapes, and height gauges.
- Record inspection results and prepare quality reports.
- Identify non-conforming(NC) products and report issues to the production team.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality procedures.
- Maintain inspection records and calibration status of measuring instruments.
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve product quality.
Qualifications
- Diploma, ITI, or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with 1–5 years of experience in structural steel or sheet metal fabrication are preferred.
- Basic knowledge of understanding engineering drawings and handling measuring instruments.
- Understanding of ISO 9001 quality systems is an advantage.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
